Jesus had directed disciples to prepare Passover holy supper. He had a supper lastly with his disciples before he was cruxified. It was the Passover day evening. And at that time, he gave disciples bread and wine which represent his flesh and blood. And he promised whoever eats his flesh and drink his blood(whoever keeps the Passover) has eternal life.
For every christian, the purpose of faith is salvation and eternal life.(1peter 1:8-9). And through the Bible, the only way to receive eternal life is to keep the Passover. (Jn 6:53-54) That's why Jesus directed disciples to keep the Passover before he was cruxified.

답글삭제Even though many people have known as the 'Last Supper', biblical name of 'Last Supper' is the new covenant Passover. Through the Passover, we can get eternal life. Therefore, Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover of the new covenant in this age.
답글삭제We can see that Jesus Himself said He would celebrate the Passover and had the disciples prepare the Passover. Jesus did everything as an example for us to follow. So it is Jesus’ will, God’s will for us to keep the New Covenant Passover.
