Ex 20:8-10
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God
God commanded us to keep the seventh day as a Sabbath and it is the service day we should offer the service before God.
Then what day is the seventh day of the week?
Many people think that sunday is the service day recorded in the Bible, but it is not. Sunday is the first day of the week, which God never mentioned as a Sabbath. the seventh day of the week is Saturday.
Even though the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the descent of the Holy Spirit took place on a sunday, the days should be kept as a Resurrection day and Pentecost which are in the Bible. And the sabbath must be kept as a weekly service.
On the seventh day Sabbath, God promised us to make us holy and also to give blessings. And also he recognizes his people by the Sabbath day.
Ge 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Ex 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it [is] a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that [ye] may know that I [am] the LORD that doth sanctify you.
So in the new testament Jesus too, kept the Sabbath as his custom, every week.
Lk 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

답글삭제If we want to be saved we need to examine ourselves to see if we are now following God's words of promise which God has given us through the Bible.

답글삭제It's so easy to know that the Sabbath day is the Saturday day, seventh day. And the Biblical Sabbath day is exactly Saturday. Therefore, to worship to God, people must keep the Sabbath day.
